We created The Hive with a shared belief: childhood should be full of curiosity, connection, and opportunities to play.
Our backgrounds in education, child development, and the arts shape the experiences we create. Our hope is simple — to give children a place to explore, try something new, and feel welcomed just as they are, while giving families a community they can call their own.

Anna Shapard (left)
Anna brings more than two decades of experience in education, having served as a teacher, librarian, and elementary school principal. She understands the importance of helping children feel known and supported as they learn and discover what they can do.
Melissa Jorden (middle)
With a background in occupational therapy and experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities, Melissa brings a thoughtful perspective to play and participation. She values opportunities for children to move, explore, build confidence, and connect in their own way.
Frances Cibilich (right)
Frances brings together a love of art and a career in education. With degrees in both fields and experience as a certified gifted and talented teacher, she values imagination, creative expression, and the discoveries children make when they have room to follow their curiosity.
